ABOUT THE SHOW: Brooklyn The Musical is a story within a story. On the outside you have a troupe of street performers who are sharing a story from their lives, using it to help you see them as people too. Then there is the story they tell – the story of a young girl who comes to the U.S. to find the father she never knew. Together these stories create a show that is both touching and inspiring, drawing the audience into a live theater experience to remember.

Band : Rob Murphrey, David Easton, Luke Perkins, Jonathan Barber, Pedro Esparza and Chiaki Ito.

Most of all, he'd like to thank the five ridiculously talented folks he gets to share the stage with for...well, you'll see.

Anthony directed his first show ten years ago for his company A More Different S Productions right here at City Stage.  He is thrilled to be directing his first musical in this very same theatre.  Over the past ten years he has been seen less and less on stage (his latest roles being Uncle Ernie in Tommy and Max Bialistock in The Producers) and more and behind it as a writer and director.

He would like to thank his amazing cast for all of their hard work and sheer awesomeness.

Anthony would also like to thank Chiaki and Justin, for giving him the opportunity to direct this beautiful show, and his mother for always believing in him.

And of course, as always, he wants to thank each and every one of you for your support.
